Derived from the petals of the Arnica Montana Flower, a flowering herb, which is part of the sunflower (Asteraceae) family. It contains anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties. It helps congested and trapped blood in muscles and joints flow better, due to the presence of Thymol. Helps increase the production and activity of white blood cells, thus increasing the immune system. It is never heated.
This is an excellent oil for massage-relieving muscle soreness (Myalgia), and joint pain, especially post-workout. Can relieve pain associated with sprains, superficial phlebitis, bug bites, and swelling from broken bones. It is also used in post-surgical procedures to reduce swelling, bruising, and is used to treat burns. This is also an excellent choice for facial oil, increasing circulation and calming skin irritations.
